We are looking for an innovative Highways, Engineering and Construction Manager who will lead a newly restructured team, working closely with colleagues and key partners to deliver all aspects of our highways operations. Under your leadership this high performing team will provide innovative, fast paced, quality operational services and projects.
This is a broad, multi-faceted role providing an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of an area with ambitious plans and significant new funding to make those plans a reality. You will help deliver an ambitious engineering programme that is very important to attract inward investment to the area and to maintain a safe road network.
You will report to the Chief Engineer for the authority, providing leadership of the delivery team which make our plans a reality.
If you are an experienced manager with a Highways, Engineering or Construction background and have the vision and passion to deliver long lasting change then we would like to hear from you.
Bringing a strong strategic vision, track record of innovation and commercial awareness, together with substantial experience in a senior level in a relevant area, you’ll find we won’t waste any of your potential.
