Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council Highways Team play a vital role in ensuring the borough stays on the move by maintaining and enhancing our road networks.
We are looking to strengthen our Highway Team with the appointment of 4 additional Highway Operatives to undertake highways maintenance and construction work, including concreting, laying kerbs and flagstones, paving, resurfacing, drainage, and gully cleaning across the borough.
The successful applicants will need:
• To have previous experience of highway maintenance work, including on-site working and the use or hand, power and machine tools, construction plant and equipment.
• To have a NRASWA Qualification and Construction Skills Certificate supported by the knowledge and understanding of legislation and statutory obligations that affect the provisions and delivery of highway maintenance.
