HOME/SCHOOL TRANSPORT BUS ESCORT (Temporary to cover maternity leave)
Monday-Friday: 7.45am-9.00am and 3.00pm-4.30pm (13 hrs 45 mins per week)
Salary: Grade Grade 1 SCP3-4 (£18,065 – £18,426 pro rata)
Term time only: (38 weeks per annum)

Sunningdale is an ‘outstanding’ specialist school for pupils aged 2-11 with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties and complex needs.
The Governors are seeking to appoint a Home to School/School to Home Bus Escort to support children during home/school transportation on the school mini bus.
Applicants should be committed, caring, energetic and preferably have previous experience of working with children with a special educational need.
The successful candidate should have achieved a satisfactory standard of education, have a good rapport with children, be skilled in supporting the personal/social needs of pupils, and be flexible in dealing with individual behaviour needs.
Main duties:
To support pupils whilst on the journeys between home and school by
? Assisting with the personal needs of the children
? Use identified strategies to ensure all children remain regulated.
? Liaise with parents and school staff.
? Keeping children ‘safe’.
