Salary - £12.43 - £27.90 per hour (including holiday pay)

Hours to be delivered in the Scarborough (YO11 3EY), within the new Skills Village, which is located within the new Middle Deepdale housing estate.

We currently have an opportunity for the right candidates to be part of an exciting project delivering courses in areas of Construction.

Middlesbrough College are looking to build up a bank of hourly paid Lecturers in the following specialisms to deliver courses in the Scarborough for a specific project:

• Plastering
• Brickwork
• Ground Works

The courses offered will be City and Guilds accredited, and you will be teaching new entrants to the construction industry, from school leaving age, to adults looking to retrain.- The Constructions Skills Village was developed with the simple aim of bringing education and industry closer together. Supported and hand crafted by Industry, the Construction Skills Village, aims to develop future talent by giving individuals competency based skills alongside their knowledge based training.

The successful candidate will need to hold a Level 3 vocational qualification in the relevant areas and Assessor and/or verifier awards (desirable). We will also expect the candidate to be an experienced in their field with current and relevant industrial experience.

The role is to commence as soon as possible (subject to notice periods and pre-employment checks).
