Further Information
This is an exciting time in Redcar & Cleveland where we are pleased to be part of the No Wrong Door – Strengthening Families Protecting Children programme; a pioneering way of providing support to young people who are in our care, or on the edge of care.

No Wrong Door, devised by North Yorkshire County Council has already radically improved the life chances of troubled young people elsewhere, many of whom experienced long-term neglect and trauma throughout their childhoods and were likely to have needed to be taken into the care of the local authority without this intervention.
We are immensely proud that No Wrong Door is now coming to Redcar and Cleveland after our successful bid to the Department for Education to enable us to work with North Yorkshire to adopt the model locally. We are currently working towards a launch of the programme in August this year.

We are now recruiting to the position of Hub Senior Business Support Officer to be the first point of contact for young people, staff and multi-agency partners visiting the residential Hub and to provide a confidential, comprehensive and professional administrative support service to the Hub.

The successful applicant will be well motivated, conscientious, flexible and well-organised with excellent communication skills providing a positive approach to change. You must have good ICT and literacy skills and be able to prioritise your own workload, be conscientious and accurate, with eye for detail. You will have the ability to work unsupervised and be flexible in your approach, being able to work using your own initiative as a well as effectively in a team.

You will undertake a wide variety of administration tasks ensuring business demands are met and you will actively seek to improve the way in which business support is delivered.

You will be dealing with difficult and sensitive information so must respect the need for confidentiality of personal information and have knowledge of GDPR, Data Protection, Equalities and Health and Safety requirements of working in an office and residential environment.

You will be based at the residential Hub on the outskirts of Redcar, in a beautifully refurbished former care home that offers outstanding facilities for the multi-agency team who will be based there to support some of our most vulnerable young people.
