First Class Supply is working with a secondary school in Northumberland which is currently looking to recruit a Humanities Teacher from September 2018 for one term on a full time basis.

This coeducational secondary school caters to students aged from 13 to 18 years old, it is a smaller than average sized school with only 375 pupils. Within the school the students play a key role in making the school a harmonious and pleasant community to work in and be part of.

To be successful in this role you must:
  • have the skills to make a significant impact on raising the quality of teaching and learning
  • be proficient in planning, assessment and target setting so that all children make good or better progress
  • be able to inspire and motivate
  • be committed to raising achievement and standards
  • hold a relevant teaching qualification and QTS
  • have recent experience / knowledge of teaching Humanities up to Key Stage 5 within the UK National Curriculum.
