We are seeking an individual who has experience supporting and working with adults within a social care or health environment, with an understanding of equipment to support independent living. Individuals will need to become an active part of a focused person centred team and be able to show a commitment towards service development.
You will need to demonstrate that you are:
• Enthusiastic
• Creative
• Well motivated
• Flexible
• Have competent numeracy and literacy skills
• Able to use your own initiative to enhance services that support independence
You will have responsibilities that will include basic assessment and screening in regards to blue badge and bus pass applications and low level equipment needs. You will also be required to support a schedule of activities within the centre for customers including reception cover and the delivery of drop-in sessions and clinics. You will be expected to work closely with the Independent Living Centre Coordinator, partners and associated professionals around delivering a quality service within a flexible timetable.
