The Governors of Grange View Church of England First School are seeking to appoint an outstanding, inspirational, ambitious, hardworking and committed class teacher. As our numbers continue to grow year on year we are looking for outstanding classroom practitioners to cover a maternity leave in Year 1.
The successful applicant will have excellent classroom practice with KS1 and be able to motivate children of all abilities. They need to have an engaging manner and make learning fun for every pupil. A thorough understanding of the new National Curriculum is required and SIMs would be useful.
You must have high expectations of children’s achievements and behaviour and be committed to raising standards. Experience of KS1 and the delivery of Phonics screening is essential.
The successful candidate will need to create a stimulating learning environment and have innovative approach to teaching and learning, whilst constantly driving forward improvement. The role will require the successful candidate to lead by example to inspire and motivate our children and staff to achieve their full potential in our school. As we continue our journey we need a dedicated and hardworking individual who shares the school values and aims, and can promote our Christian ethos within the school community.
We currently have 140 children with a Nursery of 26 part time places morning and afternoon. We have a wonderful diversity of pupils and their families, who ensure the school is fully supported in improving the outcomes for all.
