The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher with current/recent Key Stage 1 experience to become our Key Stage 1 Leader from April 2019.
Richard Coates CE School is currently undergoing an exciting time of change: as part of the Ponteland two tier restructure we have welcomed primary children into the school from the age of three, since September 2017. Our first few years have been exciting and feedback positive – we were visited by Ofsted in June 2018 who confirmed the school was a Good school and the changes to primary were being well led and managed.
As part of the change from middle to primary education, we are looking for an outstanding and highly motivated teacher with a passion for leading learning across Key Stage 1. The successful candidate will work with the senior leadership team and Governors taking responsibility for learning and achievement across Key Stage 1. We are committed to the belief that outstanding provision across each key stages is the key to successful learning across the primary school and we are looking to appoint a practitioner who will release this vision into action. Professionalism, positivity and a relentless commitment to school improvement are essential personal attributes.
