A partner school of First Class Supply is looking to appoint a Year 5/6 Teacher to begin in March 2018 up until SATS exams. Based in south east Northumberland, the position will be on a part time basis to cover covering five mornings per week assisting with lower ability Maths groups.
The school provides a stimulating and welcome environment where pupils make good progress. They enjoy school and are attentive and courteous to each other. The leaders of the school are passionate about the pupils and are knowledgeable and effective in securing improvements. The quality of teaching is good using a variety of strategies to engage the pupils, therefore achievement is good and improving.
To be successful in this role you must:
• be a creative and pro-active practitioner
• have an enthusiasm and passion for teaching with the capacity to inspire and nurture children
• demonstrate a positive impact on pupil development
• hold a relevant teaching qualification and QTS
• have a recent, comprehensive understanding of the Key Stage 2 UK curriculum and assessment.
