Your role is to undertake the duties associated with the land charges service including the maintenance of the land charges registers in accordance with stated performance requirements to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of the service to the required statutory standard. You will process and respond to both written and personal search enquiries, collecting the relevant fee income and verify information from various sources in order to accurately maintain and update the Register of Local Land Charges and the councils land charges software. You will implement and maintain monitoring systems within the area and provide accurate statistical information on all aspects of the service and contribute to the maintenance of communication systems within the Public Safety service.

You must have a good standard of general education demonstrating numeracy and literacy, and be able to prepare business related statistics. You should have knowledge of the main operational, procedural and practical issues relating to the licensing and land charges service across Northumberland along with a sound knowledge of current laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and developments in land charges.
