An opportunity for a Landscape and Heritage Conservation Trainee (focus on Communication and Engagement) is required from April 2017 until March 2018.

Applicants are invited for a 12 month traineeship in landscape and heritage conservation and interpretation with the North Pennines AONB Partnership, focussing on work to communicate and engage with the public. In exchange for comprehensive training across the range of our projects, the successful candidate will work in the AONB team to enhance their existing qualifications. This should equip them to take up a professional role in landscape and heritage conservation or perhaps in communications. This traineeship is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Terms: 37hour week, bursary payments are paid at £55.50 per day worked. Candidates must meet the transport requirements of the post. The work will be based 5 days a week between offices in Stanhope and Allendale.

It is anticipated that interviews will be held in Stanhope on Wednesday 8th March 2017 and as part of the interview process there will be an aptitude test.
