Biddick Academy is looking for an outstanding English Teacher who is passionate, driven, committed, forward thinking and innovative. The role will be responsible for raising achievement within the English department through their specialist subject expertise. We require an inspirational individual who has a clear understanding of educational excellence, with the knowledge of how to achieve this, to move the department forward and support across the Academy.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious leader wishing to further develop their career and to make a difference to the practice of colleagues and the education of our young people.

The successful candidate will be:

• An outstanding teacher of English with a strong subject knowledge and a real passion for English;
• Someone with proven experience, with a track record of strong GCSE exam results;
• A collaborative and motivated individual who will help lead and deliver English across both KS3 and KS4;
• Someone who will contribute to the improvements and success across the whole Academy through their sharing of knowledge, ideas and best practice.
