Further information

St John Vianney School and Children's Centre caters for the early learning and care needs of children from birth to three (Starfish Daycare), complementing the existing integrated care and learning of children from three to eleven. We are committed to the learning, care and safeguarding of all children and have comprehensive child-protection strategies in place. We recognise that parents are the first teachers of their child and endeavour to support them, involving them throughout the time their child is in our care.

The governors of St. John Vianney School are seeking to appoint a member of staff to work predominantly in the day-care setting. We are looking for enthusiastic, committed individuals who have experience working with children, good communication skills and a positive approach to challenging situations and coping with change. An understanding of EYFS is essential.

This is an opportunity for Practitioner to further their experience by undertaking learning support within an extended 0-11 setting, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to developing high quality learning and play that will provide support and guidance for the children in our care. Excellent training opportunities will be provided and for the right candidate, support of a well qualified and experienced team is assured.

Candidates should have Learning Support and Childcare qualifications such as NVQ in Early Years and Education, CACHE Diploma in Early Years Practice, BTEC in Early Years Practice or their equivalents and relevant experience. We would also welcome applications from Early Years Professionals or aspiring Early Years Teachers.
