TRUST LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT ROLES
(Variable Fixed Term contracts until the 31st August 2019)
Full Time or Part time positions with a maximum of 28 hours per week (term time plus 3 days)
Salary Band 3 (SCP 14-17)
Pro-rata Salary for term time plus 3 days working 28 h.p.w. is £11,632 p.a.
We are seeking Learning Support Assistants to join our friendly and supportive Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) team at both QEHS and HMS. The salary quoted pertains to the full time position of 28 hours per week, (over 5 days).
Successful candidates will be self-motivated and display excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for education. This may be your first role in education after recently graduating or you are contemplating a career in education and a change from your current role.
The specifics of the role can be seen in the job and person specification attached to this advert but in essence, you will need to be able to develop an understanding of the educational, physical and emotional needs of the children you are supporting. You should be able to relate well to children and young adults and be committed to supporting them to reach their full potential.
