Post: Learning Support Assistants (temporary)
Salary: Grade D, PT 15-17 (actual salary £15,190 - £15,782)
Hours: 37 hours per week, Term time only (39 weeks)
We are looking to appoint Learning Support Assistants (temporary) who will be responsible for supporting students who have ASD on a 1:1 basis, and working with students in small groups. The post holders will be responsible for supporting individuals and will also provide more generic group support at times. The post holders should have well-developed communication skills, be hard-working and professional in their duties. Candidates will have Maths and English qualifications at GCSE grade A*-C or equivalent, together with NVQ L3 or equivalent in a relevant subject. Candidates should also be assertive and confident in managing behaviour competently.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to a DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
