Our school is one of six primary and secondary schools within the NEAT Academy Trust family of schools. At the heart of our trust is the aim to nurture, educate, achieve and transform the lives of all young people within the communities we serve across the North East. We have a national research school, which aims to build and strengthen networks of schools throughout the region and help them access effective education research and implement it in everyday practice.

We are a supportive, welcoming and motivated school community, working hard to achieve high standards. We currently have a vacancy within our early years unit and are looking for an excellent, highly motivated and caring Learning Support Assistant to support our teaching professionals maintain and improve these standards for our pupils.

The post is for 20.5 hours per week, term time only plus 5 training days – 8.30 am to 12.45 pm, Monday, 8.45 am to 12.45 pm, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and – 8.45 am to 1 pm, Wednesday.

Successful candidate will have:
• excellent written and oral communication skills
• experience in working within the Early Years setting
• a full and relevant level 2 Early Years qualification or working towards the full and relevant qualification for Early Years
• a positive attitude and love of learning
• commitment to the wellbeing and care of all children
• an ability to work successfully as part of a team
