A partner primary school to First Class Supply would like to appoint Learning Support Assistants to provide both 1:1 and general support in the classroom. Positions are available for a variety of durations on both a full and part time basis, and across all year groups including Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The opportunity to work with SEN pupils is also available.
The school provides a stimulating and welcome environment where pupils make good progress. The leaders of the school are passionate about the pupils and are knowledgeable and effective in securing improvements. The quality of teaching is good using a variety of strategies to engage the pupils, therefore achievement is good and improving.
Successful applicants will:
- Demonstrate a positive impact on pupil development
- Be pro-active, enthusiastic, energetic and reliable
- Have the ability to motivate and engage children
- Be able to work independently using your initiative
- Have a minimum of 6 months recent experience within a UK setting
- Hold a Level 3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant education or child care discipline.
