An opportunity has arisen for a passionate, professional to teach on our thriving NextGen Games, Animation & VFX course.

We are seeking to further strengthen our team with a highly creative and enthusiastic 3D Art (Maya) specialist with the skills required to assist in ensuring our learners are industry ready with the right skills and knowledge for the workplace.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding practitioner, with relevant vocational competence in using Autodesk Maya to produce 3D Art for Games, Animation or VFX. They’ll possess the ability to deliver high quality classes, with high expectations, that enthuse and inspire learners to achieve the best possible outcomes and best prepare learners for a career in the Games, Animation or VFX industries.

This post offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work in our state of the art ‘Arts Academy’, at the Bede Campus, and at Hartlepool Sixth Form College, within our specialist NextGen studios, and be a part of a successful team, supporting outstanding achievement across our Digital provision.

Applicants will have industry experience, preferably in a studio environment, and could be new to teaching or have a proven track record in education. Applicants must be willing to achieve a teaching qualification within an agreed timescale.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate relevant experience in their personal statement, giving practical examples of how they fulfil the person specification. Applicants will also be expected to bring along examples of their work to interview, and deliver a short lesson to a group of learners.
