We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic individual who can demonstrate outstanding teaching, learning and assessment practices across all levels to ensure positive outcomes for students. There is significant potential of further development and promotion of provision across this curriculum area of Carpentry & Joinery and it is expected that you will be part of the team to drive this forward.

It is essential that applicants be qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry & Joinery, possess a teaching qualification (or willing to work towards), an assessor qualification and have extensive industrial experience within the sector.

An additional construction craft qualification to NVQ Level 2 or 3 would also be desirable.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate, in their personal statement, practical examples of how they fulfil the person specification.

Due to the nature of this post you will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure Check.
