The Faculty of Sport, Health & Wellbeing is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic lecturer of Uniformed Public Services to join our dynamic team. If you are an individual who is passionate about developing the future workforce of the uniformed public services sector then this is the job for you!

You will need to be organised, innovative, a real team player and have a sound understanding of the most effective teaching and learning strategies with the ability to support our growth in public services provision at the college.

The successful candidate will be pivotal in delivering outstanding provision for our Level 2 and 3 Public Services programmes. You should have achieved a relevant degree and/or hold a teaching qualification and be able to demonstrate an operational knowledge of uniformed public services. Experience of delivering BTEC qualifications is preferred and you must be able to demonstrate the ability to deliver outdoor activities and lead on student expeditions.

Applications are welcomed from candidates with vocationally relevant industry experience as well as those with a strong track record in teaching and learning. Applicants for this post should be able to demonstrate in their personal statement practical examples of how they fulfil the person specification.
