Further Information
Northumberland Learning & Skills Service currently administers its own supply of
sessional lecturers who undertake assessing, lecturing, learner support and
administration work at various Adult Learning Centres across the County. Delivery takes place during the day, evenings and weekends.

We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic, innovative individuals to join our team. The successful candidate will be well-motivated, qualified and ready to teach across a range of programmes at levels 1 to 3 and non-accredited courses.

You should be educated to at least degree level or equivalent and have a passion for your craft or art skill. Current courses include painting and drawing, tailoring and dressmaking and ceramics and we are keen to expand this. Preferably you will already have a teaching certificate and Assessor of Verifier awards.

The appointment offers a number of opportunities to play a key role in driving forward the quality of our Art and Crafts Department and expanding our Adult Learning & Apprenticeship provision, as well as the offer to develop programs for local partnerships and employers, working alongside a highly successful team.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate, in their application form, practical examples of how they fulfill the person specification.

Due to the nature of this post you will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure Check.
