The apprentice will be working in a small team deal with system maintenance of both our mapping and asset management system. This is not an IT support system more for the day to day delivery of the Highways Asset Management and New Code of Practice being implemented as such the team have knowledge of Highway related issues, covering inspections, remote working, HH devices, android system linking to mapping and our Asset system Mayrise.
The apprentice will work directly with the System support officer on the maintenance of the systems currently being used. He will be trained in the use of mapping and asset programmes for the delivery of the day to day Highways reactive programme.
