We require suitable applicants for Area Care Apprentices
Environment Services are looking to recruit Area Care Apprentices to work throughout all areas of Middlesbrough. The successful applicants will be working with and learning from highly experienced employers, gaining excellent practical experience.
The Apprenticeship programme will enable you to develop a wide range of skills appertaining to environmental maintenance whilst gaining nationally recognised vocational qualifications.
The successful candidates must be able to demonstrate a positive and professional attitude. You must also be self-motivated, enthusiastic and positive with a willingness to learn and develop.
You will receive support and guidance throughout your apprenticeship to ensure you have the necessary skills, confidence and experience to develop your employment opportunities.
Main Duties are:
• All horticultural and cleansing tasks in relation to maintaining the environment
• Use of hand tools
• Refuse and Recycling loading duties and associated tasks
• Use of various items of hand held machinery – Strimmer’s, hedge-cutters, Air blowers
