Variable hours 14 - 32.5 per week
The Governors in Prudhoe Castle First School wish to appoint a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our committed and friendly team. The successful candidate will:-
Be qualified at NVQ 2 for Teaching Assistants with an Early Years Qualification
Have experience of working with or caring for children aged 2-9years.
Have experience of working one-to-one to support and care for children with additional needs.
Be able to work as a member of a team, understanding the role in the classroom and associated responsibilities.
Be able to form good relationships with pupils and be responsive to their needs
Have good computer skills and the ability to use other types of learning technology
Recognise the uniqueness of every child and reflect this in their practice
Be enthusiastic, imaginiative and energetic, capable of gaining the full potential from each child.

This post is a fixed term contract pending the planned review of the staffing structure which may result in staffing changes until 20th July 2018
