Assistant Administrator Job reference: DPA023 Closing date for applications: Monday 31st October 2016 (12 noon) Location:Dormanstown Primary Academy, Dormanstown, Redcar Reporting to:Office Manager/Academy Business Manager Salary/Level:£18,560 - £19,939 pro rata (actual salary £17,193 – £18,470) Status:Permanent, term time only + 4 weeks We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced administrator. This is an exciting, new, additional post designed to support a growing academy as well as adding capacity to the Trust. The successful candidate will promote and support the vision and direction of Dormanstown Primary Academy by providing day-to-day support for all users. First impressions count; our office staff set the tone for how our academies are perceived and as the first point of contact, you will need to have an outgoing, friendly approach. You will be able to undertake difficult conversations with people in a calm and assertive manner. The academy offices are extremely busy places and children, parents and staff will often require your help and support at short notice, so we expect you to be able to prioritise and organise your time effectively, with a smile! The office is currently led by a Level 4 Administrator, working with a Level 3. The Academy Business Manager also works closely with the administration team to provide support on a day to day basis, as well as across the Trust. Whilst the appointment is based at Dormanstown Primary Academy, as part of Tees Valley Education Trust we see ourselves very much as a team, serving three different communities.
