Having successfully secured Sport England Further Education Inactivity Funding, we are delighted to offer the opportunity for a ‘Live Well, Learn Well Project Lead’ to join the Student Services team here at Middlesbrough College.
We require a supportive, motivated and engaging individual, who is strategically aware and has a proven track record of delivering high quality outcomes and targets.
The Project lead will be responsible for deploying resources to ensure our most inactive students get access to a new and varied programme of activities and sporting opportunities around the college. The programme will have a focus on working with students who are disengaged with sport or any physical activity, finding ways of motivating students to be more active and to support a healthy lifestyle.
The successful individual will have experience in delivering a range of projects where embedding a culture of activity is key. They will also be able to supervise 2 staff and make great relationships with the college directorate areas in order for us to meet our funding targets. They will be well organised, have excellent verbal and written communication, be committed to excellence in customer care and have an outstanding ability to engage colleagues and motivate young people.
