Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the following post within the Transport and Infrastructure Service.
A vacancy has arisen for a Maintenance and Operation Manager within the Transport and Infrastructure Services. The post holder will provide a lead role with responsibility for line management of the operations and maintenance service to secure transport service improvements and developments to facilitate economic development and jobs, as well as carbon reduction and health benefits.
Applicants must be self-motivated and have a flexible approach to working arrangements and will have strategic and operational knowledge and experience at a senior level.
The main areas of responsibilities of the post include:
• Highway and Flooding Asset management and maintenance
• Highways Regulation
• Contract Management
• Tees Valley shared services (Traffic Signals and Laboratories)
• Transporter Bridge
