First Class Supply are currently working with a partner middle school in Northumberland to source a Teaching Assistant with strong behaviour management skills for 1:1 support to shadow a child who exhibits aggressive behaviour. The position will be on a full time basis and will begin as soon as possible.
This is a good school where pupils make good progress in English and Mathematics to reach standards that are above average by the time they leave the school. Pupils have developed mature attitudes and behave extremely well in lessons and around the school. The quality of teaching is mainly good with some that is outstanding. Teachers plan interesting lessons and use imaginative ideas to enthuse pupils.
To apply for this role you must:
be able to work independently on either a 1-1 or small group basis
be pro-active, enthusiastic, energetic and reliable
be flexible to work at short notice as and when the need arises
have recent experience in a Teaching Assistant role
hold a relevant child care or education qualification at Level 3 or above.
