First Class Supply are working with a private nursery school in Newcastle who require a Nursery Nurse to work within their Nursery on an ongoing basis with a permanent position available for the right candidate. The nursery are awaiting confirmation of a start date and are prepared to wait until they find the ideal person.

This is a large private day nursery which operates under the statutory guidance of the Early Years Foundation Stage (2014). This nursery ensures that quality and value for money is top priority for parents and work in partnership with parents to offer this whilst maintaining high standards of care.

The Early Years Foundation Stage framework underpins the types of activities planned by the early years educators throughout the week. This focuses on the individual needs of each child in their care and provides a wealth of learning opportunities supported through play.

This nursery has links to the Early Years team in Newcastle and receives support on all areas of care and education for children from birth – five years.

You must:
  • Hold a full and relevant qualification in childcare – minimum Level 2 required
  • Be able to work independently, using your initiative
  • Take direction to adapt and meet the needs of the team
  • Be pro-active, enthusiastic, energetic and reliable
