A Catholic primary school in North Tyneside is currently working with First Class Supply to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated Nursery Teacher to join their team. The role is on a part time basis, five mornings per week to commence after February half term for the remainder of the academic year.

The achievement of pupils’ is good, from well below expected starting points, by the end of Year 6 pupils reach standards that are at the national average in reading, writing and mathematics. Overall teaching is good and some is outstanding. Pupils’ behaviour is good and they are kind and considerate with each other which creates a warm and friendly atmosphere in the school.

You must be an excellent classroom practitioner who is highly committed and able to motivate and ensure children reach their full potential.

To apply for this role it is essential that you:

  • are a qualified teacher that holds QTS


  • have experience of teaching Nursery within the UK National Curriculum


  • can demonstrate a positive impact on pupil development


  • consistently teach inspirational and varied lessons


  • are pro-active, enthusiastic, energetic and reliable


  • are eligible to work in the UK.
