This is an exciting time to join us following additional investment into the management structure of the Occupational Therapy team in social care.
You will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high performing, cost effective intervention to eligible Older People, Adults, Children and their Carers.
This is a new post for our team – you will be a suitably qualified Occupational Therapist with extensive experience in social care to provide essential support to the Lead Occupational Therapist.
You will develop and support the wider team and foster effective working relationships with colleagues to the benefit of service users and their families. You will deputise for the Lead Occupational Therapist as appropriate and be responsible for allocating and supervising casework to team members, ensuring eligible residents receive timely and responsive intervention.
You will manage a small, complex caseload of your own, whilst providing support and expert advice to colleagues, peers and stakeholders.
The post is part of the Integrated Occupational Therapy service across South Tees giving wide access to peer support, staff development and integrated working practices across health and social care.
