Occupational Therapy Assistant

Applications are invited from enthusiastic and committed staff for a temporary vacancy based within the Countywide Occupational Therapy Service - South Team.

The post holder will carry out assessment of need and provide appropriate equipment and minor adaptations within the clients' home environment, under the supervision of a qualified Occupational Therapist and experience and knowledge of the needs of disabled people would be an advantage.

The post is part of a busy team and we are looking for candidates with good time management skills and a flexible approach to work.

Applicants should have an interest in working with people who have a physical disability and have access to a car or access to means of mobility support.

It is anticipated that interviews to be held week commencing 11/2/2019

Required qualifications: 5 GCSEs (A-C grades) or equivalent relevant qualification.

The successful applicant for this post will be required to apply for a Disclosure & Barring Service Enhanced Disclosure.
