We are committed to providing quality care and achieving positive outcomes for the young people we look after. We are currently increasing our establishment of children’s homes within Newcastle and are looking for an experienced, dynamic, highly motivated Registered Manager to join our team within our children’s homes across the City. The successful applicant will need to be resourceful and solution-focussed with the ability to establish relationships quickly whilst working as part of a team towards agreed aims and objectives.

You will have good communication and IT skills, a clear understanding of needs of children and their families and experience of managing staff. You will have experience of working within a highly regulation environment caring for vulnerable children and young people, who at times display challenging behaviours. You will also have knowledge and experience of outcome-focussed care and pathway planning.

A recognised management qualification, in-line with regulatory requirements, is essential for this role along with experience of residential care. The successful applicant will be required to work flexibly which may include evenings, weekend and other unsocial hours as required.
