Further information

Are you looking for an opportunity to develop your Organisational Development (OD) career in a great Council doing great things for a great city? If so, we would love to hear from you as we have the following vacancies:

OD Practitioner, salary range £23,866 - £27,358 pa
Senior OD Practitioner, salary range £37,107 - £39,961 pa (please see advert link www.northeastjobs.org.uk/job/Senior_Organisational_Development_Practitioner/179174 )

We are a forward thinking council in a city that makes history and shapes the future. A place of bright sparks and big ideas. Our OD team mission is to create an environment where every employee can flourish and where our distinctive, high-quality service adds value to every one of them.

You will play a key role working with staff and managers supporting them to develop and maintain a culture that creates a high performing organisation.

To succeed in the OD Practitioner role, you will be passionate about OD and learning, experienced in individual and group facilitation and able to demonstrate where you have established credible relationships with stakeholders at all levels. You will also have practical examples to show how your working knowledge of a range of interventions such as change management, employee engagement and performance management approaches can combine to impact high performance. Being able to turn your hand to supporting staff with IT or digital interventions to improve personal effectiveness would be an advantage.

In return for these, we will encourage and support you to grow and develop further knowledge, capability and skills within a great OD team.

If you would like to find out more about the roles we have on offer, please do make contact with:

Jackie Mitchell-Rayner, OD Team Manager on 0191 211 5208 for the OD Practitioner post.

The closing date for applications is noon Wednesday 19 September. The selection process for the posts will take place over 24 – 26 September, and we really hope the successful candidates will be able to join us at our team away day on Thursday 11 October.
