General Assistants - full and part-time and PVH positions available

Salary: £17,972 - £18,672 p.a. pro rata
PVH posts include holiday plusage of 13.99%

Live in staff accommodation may be available.

Derwent Hill is a busy, friendly Outdoor Education Centre set in idyllic surroundings in Portinscale, just outside Keswick in Cumbria.

We provide high quality residential outdoor education courses for schools, colleges and youth groups, as well as corporate training events and group accommodation for adults.

Our approach is based on professional informality, and we pride ourselves on our flexibility, homely atmosphere, good food and inspiring setting.

The role of general assistants is varied and flexible, and includes assisting with the preparation of packed lunches and service of meals, as well as general housework, bar service and cleaning the centre.
