NIGHT CARE OFFICER, TOGETHER FOR CHILDREN, SUNDERLAND Part Time - 18.5 hours Grade 3 - £18,070 - £20,138 pro rata Together for Children is a newly established Company in Sunderland which works on behalf of the Council to deliver children’s services in the city including social care, early help and education To assess, co-ordinate and provide personal or practical interventions to a range of vulnerable clients. To support children & young people, with a learning disability/and or a physical disability or a health care need, throughout the night meeting their individual needs To work effectively with all other team members, contributing to the development of a high performing team and good quality lifestyles for people. To ensure positive experiences to all children and young people who have their short breaks at Sea View Road. 2 years minimum experience is required in working with children with disabilities and complex health needs. Also NVQ level 3 is desirable, or be able to work towards or prepared to undertake the qualification once in post. Applications should be made on-line at northeastjobs.org.uk/sunderlandcitycouncil.
