Further Information

The North East Learning Trust is a growing multi-academy Trust founded by The Academy at Shotton Hall in Peterlee. The Trust family currently consists of the founding school, along with three primary schools and four secondary schools. We plan to expand our Trust across the north east of England, building and strengthening our Trust family as an exemplary school community. Within our family of schools, we have a designated Teaching School and ‘outstanding’ SCITT programme and we were also designated one of only 22 Research Schools country in April 2017. Thus, you will be joining a Trust with a wealth of resources, capacity and expertise.

We require a multi skilled IT professional that can adapt to a wide range of technologies with excellent communications skills.

Managing junior colleagues, you will be expected to work across the Trust and support ongoing projects as the primary point of technical authority. It is also expected that working with the Head of IT Services you will be instrumental in the design and implementation of system rework and upgrades. You should be able to demonstrate a high level of skill and experience with network design and management, high availability clustering and Microsoft server architecture with associated technologies.

Experience with Microsoft System Centre, Azure based cloud services and PowerShell would be advantageous along with experience in the education sector.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced and successful Network Manager to take the next step in their career.
