An exciting opportunity has arisen for a high-performing Personal Assistant to join the Children and Families Directorate at Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council.

The Role

37hrs Per Week 


As a Personal Assistant, you will provide a confidential, comprehensive and professional administrative and secretarial service to the Assistant Directors for Education and Social Care/Early Help within the Directorate, ensuring business needs and priorities are met effectively.

This is a varied and fast-paced role, including:
  • Coordinating, administering and minuting meetings
  • Providing high-quality administrative support to senior leaders
  • Producing clear, accurate and professional reports
  • Maintaining detailed records and trackers to monitor activity and impact
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the directorate
You will be highly organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities while working to tight deadlines.

About You
We are looking for someone who:
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Builds positive and professional relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including Elected Members
  • Demonstrates strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Can handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
