A partner secondary school to First Class Supply, based in Northumberland, would like to appoint a Physics Teacher to commence in January 2018. The position is on a part time basis to commence as soon as possible until May 2018. You will be required to teach to Key Stage 4. This position will operate on a two week timetable alternating between two days per week and three days per week.

The school has an “Outstanding” reputation and is of average size. Ambitious and excellent leadership and governance, and extremely skilled and dedicated staff have ensured that the school’s high performance has been sustained. All students make rapid progress and behave extremely well showing high levels of respect and self-discipline. The curriculum is constantly developed to meet students’ needs.

We require a teacher who:
  • is an outstanding practitioner with the ability to inspire and motivate pupils
  • is enthusiastic and committed with vision, drive and commitment
  • will secure excellent academic achievement for all students
  • would relish working in a thriving school
  • has recent experience / knowledge of teaching Physics at Key Stage 4 within the UK National Curriculum
  • holds a relevant teaching qualification and QTS.
