A partner school to First Class Supply, based in North Tyneside, would like to appoint Physics teacher to teach Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. The position will commence in September 2018 for one term.

This is a small secondary school catering for students aged 13 – 18, which benefits from state of the art buildings and facilities. A happy environment is promoted, where success is built on the foundation of strong relationships and an ethos of support. The school has made significant improvements recently since a change in leadership. Positive relationships between students and staff ensure behaviour is good, and students with special educational needs make good progress due the focused support which they receive.

To be successful in this role you must:
  • have the skills to make a significant impact on raising the quality of teaching and learning
  • be proficient in planning, assessment and target setting so that all children make good or better progress
  • be able to inspire and motivate
  • be committed to raising achievement and standards
  • hold a relevant teaching qualification and QTS
  • have recent experience / knowledge of teaching Physics to Key Stage 5 within the UK National Curriculum.
