PLACEMENTS OFFICER – 18.5 HPW
(FOSTERING SERVICES, BARRINGTON STREET, SOUTH SHIELDS)
£24,964 pa pro rata

We are looking for an enthusiastic worker to work within the Placement Service which is an integral part of South Tyneside Fostering Service.
Duties include:

• Acting as a single point of access for the above service,
• Facilitating and managing all referrals for both planned and emergency situations.
• Liaising with social workers, residential staff, foster carers and Independent & Voluntary Agencies.
• Collating data as required and providing up to date statistical information on a monthly and annual basis.
• Managing payments systems for foster carers
• Facilitating weekly allocation meetings
