Your role is to undertake internal plastering & basic plumbing to the highest quality and standard in accordance with work requests and pre-determined specifications to a wide range of fixtures and fittings. Basic carpentry is also essential for works to include the snagging, finishing off of new kitchens, bathroom conversions, full house rewires and full new central heating systems. This will include boxing in, painting, plastering, including all trim and mastic requirements to a tradesman standard. Basic brickworking skills and first and second fix rewire cable running are a also requirement of this role to assist the rewire electricians where needed
You will have extensive experience of being a multi skilled craftsman in a customer facing environment, along with a good knowledge of the Health & Safety requirements associated with the trades and have a sound working knowledge of all elements of building construction, components, building trades and applicable building regulations. You must be prepared to travel throughout the County. An understanding of local authority housing or working in a Housing association or similar environment would be desirable.
