Further Information
The post is a 12-month fixed term position funded by central government to enable the North East CA to develop regional policy on homelessness prevention in line with the requirement of our Deeper Devolution Deal.
This will involve working with a wide range of stakeholders to produce a Homelessness Prevention Blueprint, understand the regional challenges and build a case for test and learn programmes and further funding.
The postholder will be responsible for maintaining relationships with a wide range of partners, including officers from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG); local authorities; Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations and others to understand the challenges which exist in the homelessness system and shape solutions.
