The Role:
We are looking to recruit a Policy and Innovation Officer to join the Policy and Innovation Team working across the whole business. No two days will be the same, and you will be involved in a range of different projects and initiatives as YHN works through our transformation programme. Engagement is key and we have big ambitions in our People Strategy, so making this come to life is just one example of what you will be involved in.

The Person:
You will be a highly motivated self-starter with experience of developing policies and strategies in a complex environment. Ideally, you will have experience of working on issues relating to housing, but more important is the ability to influence others to deliver change. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to prioritise your workload to ensure deadlines are met and the ability to work across different teams. Strong research and analytical skills are essential, as is the ability to understand national, regional and local policy, and its implications for YHN is also essential.

We offer a great place to work, excellent benefits including LGPS pension scheme, flexible working from 7am to 7pm, attractive holiday entitlement, and a wide range of learning and development opportunities.
