County Durham Housing Group are seeking to appoint a Pre-Tenancy Support Officer on a permanent basis to work within the Tenancy Sustainment Team.
County Durham Housing Groups Pre-Tenancy Support Service is a brand new service offered to applicants on the housing register. The service enables applicants to develop the skills and other attributes required to go onto sustain a successful tenancy.
We are looking for a skilled officer who can provide advice and support on financial inclusion, including money management, income maximisation, energy advice and access to low cost furniture and fittings, to ensure the best possible start to tenancies.
As part of this service you will be required to be pro-active in delivering a customer focused support service within County Durham Housing Group as well as working with external partners to provide support and advice across a range of issues.
