The Trustees are seeking to appoint a Primary Welfare Lead for Academy 360 to join the academy in September 2018 or as soon as possible.

Trustees are seeking to appoint an organised and proactive Primary Welfare Lead to provide complementary service to existing teaching and support staff in school, addressing the needs of children who need help to overcome barriers to learning, both inside and outside of school, in order to achieve progress and achievement for all student.

Academy 360 is a rapidly improving secondary school in Sunderland at the heart of its local community. The Academy has recently joined Laidlaw School Trust (LST), The Laidlaw Schools Trust is a growing family of six schools helping transform thousands of young lives in North East England. LST invests significantly in the training and development of all staff and is able to offer all staff a wide range of opportunities and benefits.

The successful candidate will join a successful MAT where all Academies support each other to the benefit of our pupils and their families. Our Academies also enjoy strong support from an experienced LST central team, based in Newcastle upon Tyne.
