This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and motivated individual with a passion for reducing inequalities and improving health and wellbeing. South Tees (Redcar & Cleveland and Middlesbrough) is one of Sport England’s twelve pilot areas for a radical, ambitious and ground-breaking programme to tackle inactivity and increase physical activity through whole system change.

The Programme Officer will support the Programme Director and partners to deliver a programme of transformational change, using insight, engagement and behaviour change using whole system approaches to reduce inactivity and improve the quality of local people’s lives.

Do you have excellent co-ordination and administrative skills? If you feel that you have the skills and attributes for this position then we would like to hear from you. The programme is being led by Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council in partnership with Middlesbrough Council.

Closing date is 12pm on Friday 26th October
