The North East Combined Authority was formed on 7 May 2024. We are led by an Elected Mayor and Cabinet and cover the seven local authority areas of County Durham, Gateshead, Newcastle, North Tyneside, Northumberland, South Tyneside and Sunderland.

We are looking for a dynamic Programme Officer to join our team and drive the success of our skills programmes.

As a Programme Officer, you’ll play a supporting role with our skills team to ensure the Adult Skills programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with the New Deal for North East Workers and, our Corporate and Local Growth Plan objectives. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a team that makes a meaningful impact delivering activities that make a real difference. The Programme Officer will be required to support with the coordination of essential administration and systems, working with our Project Managers and, Relationship and Contract Managers across different projects, contracts, stakeholder events, and funding initiatives.

This post is temporary for a period of 12 months.
