Are you an experienced project manager with a passion for delivering meaningful change?

We are looking for a motivated and collaborative Project Manager to join the North East Mayoral Strategic Authority on a 0.6 FTE permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and coordinate strategic projects that make a real difference to communities across the North East, working with a diverse range of partners and stakeholders to turn ambitious plans into successful outcomes.

In this role, you will take responsibility for managing complex projects from inception through to delivery, ensuring objectives are achieved on time, within budget and to the highest standards. You will bring people together, establishing effective project teams and governance arrangements, leading meetings, managing risks and providing clear progress reports to senior stakeholders. Strong relationship-building and communication skills will be key as you engage, influence and collaborate with colleagues, partners and external organisations to drive projects forward.

Working as part of a forward-thinking organisation, you will also contribute to the development of policies, priorities and service plans that support the North East MSA’s strategic goals. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands-on project delivery and is committed to improving outcomes for residents across the region through effective partnership working and innovation.

We are proud to be an inclusive employer, and we welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, communities and experiences. We support flexible working and encourage applications from candidates who are under-represented including women, disabled people, LGBTQ+ people and those from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds.

If you are an organised and proactive project professional, confident in managing stakeholders, driving delivery and turning ideas into impactful results, we would love to hear from you.
